Supervisors Awareness For Industrial Forklift Trucks Course
Designed for: Supervisors with forklift truck experience or with limited experience with the safe checking and operational skills of industrial forklift trucks and the environments they work in.
Course Objective: The supervisor will be expected to have attained a level of inspection ability which will follow the guidelines of The Code Of Practice and give the supervisor expertise to detect incorrect operating procedures and beneficial help to forklift drivers to make them aware of the many pitfalls encountered within a warehouse environment and health and safety issues found in work areas.

- Introduction to company health and safety
- Health & Safety At Work Act 1974.
- Code of Practice (L117)
- Pre-checks - What to look for and be aware of.
- Stability factors
- Traveling procedures
- Parking positions
- What an operator should know and do
- Undercutting
- Speeds of operation and safety aspects
Duration: 1 Day.
