Mobile Elevated Platform Operators Course
Designed for candidates who have no or little experience with operating an MEWP.
Course Objective: The trainee, on completion, will be expected to have attained a level of operating skill which will comply with standards laid down by 1974 HSE directives.
 Course Includes:
- Introduction to the MEWP
- Controls & Instruments
- Starting, moving and stopping the machine
- Steering operations in confined and open areas
- Health & Safety at Work Act 1974
- Pre-Checks
- Safe working loads
- Safety equipment for MEWP
- Videos
- Theory Test
- Practical Test
Ratio: Maximum 4 Trainees per instructor per MEWP
