TRANSPORT

Mainstream is a DSA registered driving school with a fleet of modern and fully compliant truck, bus and coach vehicles.

We provide driver training courses for Category C1 (7.5 Tonne Truck), Category C (Rigid Truck), Category C+E (Artic Truck & Drawbar Lorry), Category D1 (Minibus), Category D (Bus Coach) and Category B+E (Car or Tractor Towing a Trailer).
Additionally, Mainstream offer LGV and PCV transport industry associated courses including: Temperature Controlled/Tail Lift/Roping & Sheeting, Lorry Mounted Crane (HIAB), Tachograph, Moffett (Lorry Mounted Forklift), SAFED (Safe And Fuel Efficient Driving), Driver Assessments, ADR Hazardous Goods, CPC Transport Management (Certificate of Professional Competence) and Driver CPC.

2 - Licence Application

Complete a medical form - download from here. Forms can also be obtained at your local Post Office or by calling Mainstream.

Theory Test

You will need to pass this test - including hazard perception section.

Training

You are now ready to commence your practical driving course.

Test

On the final day of your driver training you will be ready for your practical driving test.

With up-to-date training methods, our training courses are suitable for the novice driver seeking to aquire their first LGV / PCV driving license or the experienced professional driver who wishes to learn specialist skills.
