NVQs ~ National Vocational Qualifications

Mainstream are at the forefront of NVQ (National Vocational Qualifications) in the fields of Transport, Warehouse and Distribution, Fork Lift Truck Operations and Construction.

Nationally accredited, Mainstream are experts in these areas with a proven track record of achievements and passes. Delivery to the highest standard, with qualified instructors, ensures the candidates gain the certificate whilst both understanding and enjoying the process.

The government has a clear agenda in ensuring every person in the country achieves a level 2 standard of education, and to this end they have pledged millions of pounds towards training. Some of this money is filtered into NVQ, and Mainstream have been able to attain funding. Although some courses do attract support funding, all courses are available to purchase.

Substantially benefiting both the employer and the candidate, courses are run in line with every day operations. Mainstream recognises that in order to run a company on a daily basis takes time, money and effort, and to lose staff members can prove costly. Although our method does require some commitment from both employer and candidate, we try to minimise the impact on the day to day running of the business. During the course and on completion, the candidate will work towards producing a comprehensive and informative project portfolio, which can then be used to gain other qualifications. Employers can use the material against both their Quality Standards (ISO) and Investors in People accreditations.
