Excellence in businessKEIBA
After successfully achieving the prestigious award of 'Kent Large Company of the Year' in 2006 Mainstream re-entered once again this year. The Company has grown significantly in the past 6 years and is pleased to announce this was recognised following selection as one of the three finalists for KEiBA (Kent Excellence in Business Awards) 2012. To get this far a second time is something we are all immensely proud of and although we were disappointed to not win at the Awards Ceremony held in June at Gillingham Football Club we still celebrated being recognised as a forward thinking Company that continues to be a market leader.

Mainstream are at the forefront of personnel development - There are always new and exciting challenges and opportunities to be had within our company.


Kent Business Award

Driver CPC date for completion draws nearer.
Mainstream have passed the magic 1000 courses figure in only the first 3 months of this year.

Another successful year in the delivery of our SFA contract. Achievement rates of "well above the national average" has seen our contract renewed for 2012-2013.

Last year saw our Apprenticeship division flourish with many new clients and apprentices brought together.

New company 'Compass Hire & Sales' has been launched as an additional service. The new company, part of the Mainstream group, offer short and long-term hire of a range of vehicles from minibuses to articulated trucks. This service is uniquely offered with the flexibility of a driver-for-a-day or permanent.

Mainstream Training leads the way after a successful pilot of the government's 'Skills Conditionality Provision'.
The pilot commenced in November 2011 with just 8 courses and immediately proved popular. Following our early success the provision has grown and we now have a total of 15 courses available with approximately 10 running each calendar month. This is a significant increase on last year's numbers and something we hope to continue expanding upon.

We now deliver CAR Training after winning an HM Forces contract. Mainstream now provide Cat B training to further add to our extensive range of courses.

15 YEAR'S OLD - May 5th 2012 saw our group's first company: Mainstream Training Ltd. reach this historic milestone!

After an initial pilot, our company goes ahead with a dedicated Job Club. This assists people with additional support when job seeking whilst on programme here at Mainstream and includes Job search, CV Writing, Job Applications and writing Speculative letters. We are proud to acknowledge the success of the club having received feedback from learners which has enabled us to record over 50 job outcomes to date.

Despite the UK's current economic difficulties, both our Staff Supply and Training sectors continue to improve - bucking the national trend.

Mainstream are proud to announce we have been selected as one of the three finalists for the prestigious KEiBA (Kent Excellence in Business Awards).
After successfully achieving a similar award as Kent Large Company of the Year in 2006/07, the group and its supporters anxiously await the result.
The 2012 awards to be held at Priestfields will be a celebration of many of Kent's leading businesses in areas from Tourism and Leisure to Young Entrepreneurs.
Pleased to be shortlisted is an understatement of the recognition of our success. Winning would be crowning glory for all involved.
We anxiously await the evening.

Successful purchase of CKW Training further adds to our groups strength and means we are better positioned to deliver core Health & Safety and Child Care training, as well as strengthening our customer service and management divisions.

Mainstream aquire Metier Training to further add to the group. We now deliver training in 'small trades' including woodworking, bricklaying, plastering etc.

MOD Preferred Supplier - Career TransitionPREFERRED SUPPLIER TO HM FORCES
Mainstream are pleased to announce that we are now accredited as a preferred supplier for HM Forces Resettlement.

Mainstream has successfully launched it's Driver CPC model to the road passenger transport sector.
We launched our road haulage industry sector in September 2009.

UK NVQ / Apprenticeship
Having over-achieved on our 2009/10 Train To Gain contract, we are proud to announce our
UK NVQ/Apprenticeship division goes from strength-to-strength by yet again received funding for 2010/11.

Mainstream receives praise and a good grade in our recent OFSTED inspection, reinforcing our commitment to quality and high standards of training.

Mainstream are pleased to announce an award from our work with Pickfords (Moving with Quality). We have been awarded the Pickfords Supplier Excellence award for our outstanding services in 2010.
