This course gives an overview of how to safely operate a lorry refridgeration unit and carry out basic maintenance.

Roping & Sheeting
Designed for drivers of flat-bed trucks.
The lorry rope and sheet course shows how to secure loads and cover for transit.
Course Content:
- Safe use of straps. chains and ropes
- Sheeting techniques
- Load safety checks
- Vehicle safety and security
- Load anchoring and securing
Ratio: Maximum of 6 trainees per instructor
Duration: 1 day
Tail Lift Operation
Designed for drivers and LGV vehicle operators.
This course demonstrates all aspects of tail-lift operation. Training covers everyday use, safety legislation, manual and electrical/hydraulic systems of rear-mounted truck tail-lift.

- Operational procedures
- Manual operation and securing loads
- Loading and unloading safety
