EU directives 74/561/EEC and 89/438/EEC require operators carrying goods by road in the UK for other parties to hold a Standard National Licence. To apply for a licence the intending operator must hold a CPC - National Freight. The course covers modules: A (core) and B (National Freight) and is followed by an examination.
