• Introduction to the course
• Health and safety at work act 1974
• Site safety
• Ground and overhead obstructions
• Size and dimensions of machine
• Pre-checks before operation
• Basic operations and controls
• Safe working loads (SWL)
• Practical operations loading/unloading
• Working in confined spaces
• Written Test
• Practical Test

Duration: 1-3 Days dependent on experience

Ratio: Maximum of 3 trainees per instructor per side loader

Certification: National or In-House certificate available
